Here, There, And Everywhere

...Checking out an old Fire Truck...

...indulging in some chocolate ice cream...
...making sure we aren't leaving even one drop of that chocolate ice cream in the cup...
...and running through fountains fully clothed...

...no agenda, no schedule - we are just soaking up this carefree last month of summer before the Fall schedule hits us like a ton of bricks :)...

Random activities, it's what we're all about right now!

The girls seem a little bored lately with our normal activities - my mom always says that's a sign that school is coming :). Is anyone else having to get real creative with the kids as the end of summer approaches??

It's kind of crazy that different parts of the country have different timelines for summer. We're only 1/2 way to fall. Our summer doesn't end until after Labor Day in September ... and, for most homeschoolers in the NW ... summer doesn't end until late in September.

LOVE your pics!

I probably should say that we still do have about 4 weeks left...but it feels like the novelty is wearing off a little for the girls :) - and all the back to school stuff is out!?! Although, they still loovvee the pool!

How cute! It seems like you're doing a great job at keeping things random and crazy and fun. It's so interesting to me - the twins (at almost 2) very rarely get bored... but Maggie (age 6) seems bored a lot. Already?! I thought I had until about 12 or 14 until that happened. :)
