Whew! You've had quite the year. I'm sure 2009 will definitely be a year you look back at as a refining year. I think you've handled the year with a lot of grace though. Hang in there, friend...excited to see what God brings about in 2010!

I hate that I missed some of those moments with you, but I did keep up with reading the blog along the way. A new year, a fresh start, just what everyone needs... hopefully it starts out with new houses for each of us!

Glad that my post could encourage you today. Yes ... "You can do it."

The days may be long ... but the years will get shorter and shorter. They really will. I so clearly remember those years with 5 kids under 5 years old ... and that was 20 years ago. (Oh my ... I sound OLD now, but my little ones keep me young.)

I do remember the stress. I do remember the times when my husband worked ALL the time (several jobs at a time). I do remember the driving kids places, and wondering if maybe we should just stay home.

And ... I'm right there with you on the selling the house thing. Ugh! Ours has been on the market for 4 months. I pray that the Lord will bring you just the right place for your sweet family.

Hugs & Blessings,

mama of many

whew! I'm tired just reading about your year! Maybe that's why I didn't write down how crazy this year has been :) Scott has been working a LOT too and my oh my, it's crazy how much strain that has put on our relationship. ALL TOO OFTEN, I feel like I'm barely keeping my head above water. Thankful for honest, vulnerable friends like you who understand what I'm going through. I wish you a happy, healthy new year.
