...life had gotten a little too chaotic...
...I needed to slow things down a bit...
...we have been way too busy...
...it's time to get back to a more simple agenda...
...making sure we have some free time...
...realizing how quickly we can put way to many things on our calenders...
...spending time together at home and at the park...
...stopping by every water fountain to see if we can reach the water...
...seriously, look at those little lips - I just want to jump into that picture and squeeze her :)...
...enjoying some quite afternoons...
and remembering that,
...simple really is better...
Thanks so much for your emails and encouraging comments, they were so appreciated!

Thanks for letting me know that video isn't working. I love that shot of the girls on the bench! adorable and I swear the babies got so much bigger since I was gone. Precious. I'm hearing ya on the slow down...my hubby has VBS this week and I'm going bananas! :) I miss the beach. :)
we're doing what you're doing... slowing down. it's nice!
love the pictures!!

Very well put. I always like to say..."enjoy the little things". And when you slow down, you can definitely notice the little things.
Hope you have a great Friday!
I love that first picture. It is right off of a hallmark card. Colors are so vibrant. I like the others too but that one just stuck with me. Enjoy the lazy days of summer my friend. ML
The first pic is priceless!!! I love the idea of slowing down...I hope things are going better for you all.
I read your previous post and I've had a week like that myself. Just yelling because they won't listen, they won't clean up, they won't mind me....I finally had a meltdown yesterday and called my husband in tears, begging him to come home.
And then bedtime rolls around, and they're hugging and kissing me goodnight and they just seem so forgiving of all the day's mistakes. Thank God for that, right?
we need to too...big families are fun and exhausting for both the little people and the big ones...
great post :)
Amen, friend! I was thankful to read this yesterday... I decided to keep everyone at home instead of our usual activities, and this was a great encouragement! Hope you're having a wonderful, perhaps even semi-relaxing week! :)
