I Actually Think This Is The High Life...

What do we do on the weekends?

Not much, actually.

We skip the pool usually and just hang out at home together - it's great.

(unless you count last weekend when I went to the pool by myself for 2 hours in between photo sessions. shhhhh. )

We hang out back on the weekends...

cookout...

run around...

argue over who sprays who with the hose...

(which I usually get to spray. C'mon, I've earned it, right?)

and on occasion - somehow end up with grass in our hair...

but that's ok, you can just dunk your head in the water table to rinse anything out...

that's what its for, right??

my ladies loovvee the Water Table - especially Raya...

although I'm not sure if she likes playing with it, or just drinking the water out of it...

And the girls have also been enjoying this old swing set that our new neighbors brought over from someones yard...who's kids have out grown it...

Have I mentioned how much we LOVE our neighbors? Well, we do. They are fan-tas-tic...

They are such a blessing. The swing set is just the icing on our "good neighbor" cake...

So anyway, what do you do on the weekends? I know at some point we will have sporting events and other stuff to get to. But for now, I'm enjoying these moments.

This really is the "high life."

We love to just "hang out", too. I prefer going to the beach and such during the week, when they aren't so busy. On weekends ... we'll take walks, play in the backyard, BBQ, play card games or have a campfire in the evenings.

LOVE hangin' with my family! That's what we all love to do.

Aren't neighbors great?!

We like to spend time at Grammie and Grampies house and BBQ with them. Or they come to our house. We will ride bikes or just hang out at the house playing in the backyard.

I love the photos.

Enjoy those moments! We like to hang out. And by that I mean work our tails off finishing up all kinds of projects, run any errands we couldn't get done during the week, catching up with friends, throw in a date night every once in awhile when the moon and the stars align just perfectly, attend the requisite sporting event, etc. You know, the usual "lay low" kind of time.

hmmmm... staying home on the weekend. We're gonna have to try that. Running like idiots isn't working for us! I'd LOVE to meet you guys at the pool. where to do you go? We have a memebership at Kettering Rec.

Since I work during the week I have to spend a certain amount of time cleaning on the weekend. But, when that is finished we enjoy just hanging out too. My dd is too young to want to go anywhere so we play together on the floor or in her little wading pool. LOVE weekends!

I have an award for you on my blog :)

I usually go wild on the weekends. Take, for example, my Friday night. It involved going to Sam's Club with a friend who was shopping for her husband and 5 little girls, getting take-out dinner and a movie (the WORST movie ever made), and hanging out at my friend's house with her. She's really cool, but I am still mad at her for thinking the previews for that movie looked good... :)

Totally agreed! The best weekends are the ones spent chillin' with the fam :)
