Of All The Things I've Lost...

I miss my bladder control the most.

I have been pretty sick since Sunday morning with some kind of bronchitis/flu/strep throat kind of thing - possibly all of the above. And I've been quickly reminded that excessive coughing and unexpected sneezing combined with my 3rd trimester belly...well, they just aren't the best partners.

I think we're now friends for life after confessing my pregnancy bladder woes. Ok? Ok.

You know how it is, It's just no good when mama is sick. The cleaning and laundry are falling way behind, and my bed stand seriously looks like the cold & flu aisle at Target.

I'm praying this fever passes quickly, I worry about my little guy when I'm feeling this under the weather. One of the girls already has strep, and 2 more are complaining of sore throats...yuck.

So for now, I'm going to keep day dreaming about the pool, the girls asked out of the blue yesterday when it opens...

Sigh, I can't wait till summer :).

Here's hoping we turn a corner soon, I am so behind on everything!

I've always found that when you reach the point of praying your health turns a corner... you are almost there..... Hope you heal fast. Pregnancy and illness are hard work. And as for that bladder control..... you know what you have to do. Do them. Do those exercises and do them now or else!!

I had a 'tricky' time after babies five & six {who are my twins}... I did the exercises RELIGIOUSLY for about four months and all is good now. Do them, they work.

I'm enjoying my pool for you.... when you post your lovely pool shots during summer I will be gazing longingly at mine wishing & hoping & dreaming just like you are now....... :):)

I hope you feel better soon! I junderstand about the bladder issue. It was low after the twins but then I did some straining during someheavy lifting back in October and it just came right on down. I was scheduled for surgery and then got staph infection in my sinuses. Now, I am waiting to get well so I can have surgery. I will be glad to get it corrected!!!!

Blessings!

I was sick a few weeks ago with strep and hubby was out of town, in laws were out of town and my sister was gone too. It was horrible!

So I hope you feel better soon! Prayers are coming your way!

I can only second the motion for wanting summer. Bring it on!

I only had one child and my bladder is not what it use to be. lol---If I have a full bladder and start chasing after the kids, forget it!

Oh no :( I hope you all feel better soon!

And I understand the bladder control-I've never had issues until I got pregnant and it seems like I'm sneezing 20 times a day and well...I haven't had any issues YET, but I understand where you're coming from :)

And I'm with your girls-when does the pool open? I'm sick and tired of cold weather! I want sunshine and flip flops, please :)

Feel better soon sweet friend. I agree with Susan do the exercises....They helped me but in the "other" area after my intestinal surgery. That kegel exercise was a godsend.

Hate that you're so sick! REALLY hate your man voice... Hope you feel 100% back to normal soon and you stop peeing yourself. ;)
