Chaos And Cupcakes
Well, we did it. We gave the "Back To Preschool" cupcakes a try, and they didn't turn out to bad! The girls had a lot of fun, especially Ella, she loves this kind of stuff. The biggest lesson of the day?
Never trust a 2yr old (especially 2yr old twins) with a tube of icing. When the tube is squeezed to hard, the other end explodes. That's no lie.
But all in all it was good for the girls. They loved putting the icing on the "chalkboards." And they also loved eating all the ingredients along the way. I also may or may not of had 2 cupcakes during this whole process.
Definitely a little chaotic, but fun. Can't wait to bake for the holidays!

Back To School Baking
I have been thinking about doing some "Back to Preschool" cupcake baking with the girls, to just add to Ella's excitement. I know, baking cupcakes with two 2yr olds? I'm fearless that way. I found these darling cupcakes here, and we are going to give it a shot. The recipe doesn't look to daring, I'll have to keep in mind that ours might not look exactly like the picture :). Here's the recipe:
RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
Yellow, green, and white frosting
Cupcakes
Red Skittles or M&M's
Small plastic bag
Rubber band or twist tie
Chocolate-covered graham crackers
White Good & Plenty candies
1. Cover the cupcakes with yellow frosting and allow them to sit for an hour before decorating. Dab each red Skittle or M&M with a bit of green frosting for the apple's leaf, then set them aside.
2. Put a tablespoon or two of white frosting into a small plastic bag for piping. Cut a very small hole in a corner of the bag, twist the top of the bag closed, and secure it with a rubber band or twist tie. Piping the frosting gently out of the hole, write messages on the chocolate-covered graham crackers. Leave space at the bottom of the cookie, where it'll be stuck into the cupcake.
3. Cut a groove in the cupcake's frosting with a knife, then fit a blackboard into the groove. Add one Skittle or M&M apple and a piece of Good & Plenty chalk, as shown.
I'll be sure to post the outcome of ours, I think we will do it tomorrow or Thursday. Happy Baking!!

Reese Olivia
I had to post these pics of Reese. I just love the one of her picking up the rocks, she was having a blast throwing them into the pond. And my favorite, this is what Reese does when you tell her to "smile!" for a picture. I think it is the cutest thing I've seen her do in a while. She has changed & grown so much over the past 3 months. She has the funniest & sweetest personality......what a little cutie. (not that I'm partial!)

A Walk In The Park w/ Some Random Thoughts
We went to Cox the other day and the girls had a blast. It's definitely a place we need to get to more often. Lately I keep looking at them and thinking, "holy cow, there will be 5 soon!" I wonder how Ella, Reese & Charlotte will react, how it will make them feel, how they will deal with the change, how 2 more will change us as a family, and the questions go on and on....who will the new twins look like, what will their personalities be like, and will we ever have a bathroom big enough for 5 girls to get ready for school in the morning!? :) I know God has all those little questions worked out, and that this was the plan all along. I am so thankful and feel extremely blessed that He would give us 2 more....oh I can't wait to hold these new little babies! It will be so fun to see the older girls act like little mommies to the new babies, especially Ella, she is going to love being a helper. Anyway, just some random thoughts running through my head.....you tend to have these crazy ramblings when you go from 1 to 3 to 5 !!!

Pregnancy and The Fitting Room
It's like I didn't know I had been growing until I walked into that little room and started trying on clothes. While pregnancy is an absolute miracle and is beautiful in so many ways, I kept asking myself, "what happened here!?" Oh the funny little moments of pregnancy....:) Can't wait to meet these new little ones!
