Sometimes, He Puts Me On His Shoulders...

so I can see.

See the bigger picture...

the beauty in this busy life...

that not every day will be perfect...

and that it's the small stuff that really counts...

So I can see that His plan is running smoothly...

that my plan is not the best course...

that He is always doing a new thing...

that I spend to much time worrying...

and that sometimes life just gets messy...

He puts me on His shoulders so I can see that my vision is so limited compared to His...

that He gives you a new outlook for each new season...

that just doing the next thing is the best option...

and see that sometimes things don't line up perfectly...and thats ok...

So I can see whats real...

what is true...

what pure joy looks like...

and what is most important...

Sometimes, He puts us on His shoulders so we can see what He sees - and that, is a sweet view.

Hope you all have a great weekend :).

I have been thinking a lot lately about how God gives us different views of things in different seasons...you are on His shoulders, and me? I have been judo-slammed (lovingly and with respect) onto a thick blue mat, flat on my back, so I can see He loves me enough to gently discipline me. Thanks for sharing your heart, Kate.

Love this! I needed this perspective amidst the chaos of a new baby and letting my twin babies head off to kindergarten this week and my little girl to 3rd grade...weepy!

Thank you much, Miss Kate! This momma has REALLY been struggling with patience lately. It truly has been all me and not the girls. Thanks for the perspective check.

Oh my goodness, I so enjoy your posts! They're so refreshing and full of encouragement. Thanks for being "real" and not trying to be the perfect mother with perfect kids. It's a breath of fresh air. :)
