Merry Go Round

We kicked off the New Year by taking the girls to the local Chuckie Cheese with some friends to play some games and burn off a little energy.

Why do they love that place SO much, and I love it...not so much?? I'm even a little overwhelmed by the lights, and buzzers...and that gigantic mouse. I think I've mentioned before that I'm not a huge fan of people dressed in giant animal costumes - gives me the creepies.

Anyway...

They love it and that's all that matters :).

It was all worth it though because Kinley got to ride the Merry-Go-Round for the first time...

She kept looking in the mirror as she went around and around. I get the feeling she's knows how cute she is :).

Sigh, she is such a sweetie. Well I'm off, we have a busy day of cleaning around here tomorrow...it has to be done!

Hope you're having a great weekend!

Me and Chuckie Cheese don't along either! And if I was Kinley, I think
I would look in the mittor that much also! :)

Aww. So cute! We took Dustyn for the first time on Friday. He loved it. I just wrote a post about it. Ha ha!

I'm not a fan of Chuck E Cheese either but it's not the mouse I don't like. I don't enjoy taking my kids to places that have ball pits, climbing tubes and all that. I can't get out of my mind "when was the last time it was cleaned?" lol.

Kinley definitely knows - and she is 100% right!! Love that picture.

Chuck E Cheese is sensory overload!!!

Oh, add me to the list of people who shudder when contemplating Chuck E. Cheese! Why can't they design a kid-friendly venue that doesn't make parents want to run away screaming? Maybe I'd feel differently about the place if the giant mouse was walking around serving Starbucks coffee... (to the adults, of course ;)

Our twins love it there. We can't go much though. Mom can't take the germs, noise, chasing of little boys, tracking of tickets, and blinking lights. Makes Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and laundry seem like fun! Ahhh... Home!
