Help Name The Little Guy

Please?

We have started throwing some names around, and while we have a few we like, we can't come to a conclusion. Not that we need to immediately.

There is actually 1 in particular that I do really like. That one, could be the one. But not as of right now, because we can't completely agree on it.

Big surprise. Names are so easy to agree on, right?? Wrong - so wrong in our situation. Although we had completely agreed on Kinley before we hit the hospital. We are usually trying to land on a names(s) while we're signing release papers because we haven't made a decision. So far that has actually worked for us - apparently we do well under pressure. You know, in most situations.

Am I rambling? Yes? Sorry.

My moments of trailing off in a conversation and forgetting where I was going with it have only increased with the pregnancy. I'm talking about names one minute, and then the next thing I know I'm telling you about a bad perm I had in the 6th grade, or about how my best friend in college used to call me Jan.

See? Rambling is a condition.

Annnyway.

I would love your opinion. What are some boy names that you really like? Please, do tell!

We have friends that have twin boys named Parker and Carter; I love both of those names!

Also when we were having the twins, we did not find out the genders. We decided to go with family names. We knew if there was a boy (or two-the first one) would be named for both grandfathers and his Daddy.

Grandfather 1- Marvin
Grandfather 2-Hoyle
Daddy-John
Baby name- John Harvin

Take and make your own name! Just a thought!

Blessings and keep us posted!

I like the name Kade. It is short, strong, and to the point. However, that depends on whether it goes with your last name.

I'm just a random grandmother enjoying your posts. I found you on the multiples website several months (years?) ago. My daughter had twins three years ago and I became interested in how people dealt with multiples. Good luck in your selection.

Gibson's middle name is Jude and I love it. I kinda wanted to name Silas that but Phil said it would be weird. :) I always loved Will and Wade but they just sound funny when paired w/our last name. Lincoln was also in the running when we decided on Gibson. Just a few randoms off the top of my head.

I love thinking of baby names. You gonna share your fave name?

Boy names, in my opinion, are the hardest! Each pregnancy we immediately had girl names picked out and struggled to come up with boy names.

I love the names Jonah, Liam, and Noah, but I think Noah is on the top ten this year (so so cute though).

It can be frustrating trying to agree on something, but so much fun, Good luck!

Connor
Gavin
Nolan
Declan

Those are the names of the four boys I babysit, and I think they're adorable!

I love the names Finn, Cooper, and Cohen. I have twin girls though, so i didn't get to use any them:) I agree that picking names is tough!

The boy name I love very most, that all our girls WOULD'VE been named had they been boys, the one I'll never get to use... NOAH.

When we had our son he was originally going to be Joel Patrick then when we held him in our arms we decided on Christopher. It was a good strong name and one that could be shortened as Chris.
Our grandsons are Samuel, Josiah and Seth.

Coming up with names is so fun, but stressful too at times! I think boy names are tough. Cute ones I've heard or read recently are....
atticus, finn (really like this one), stewart, simon, anderson, hayes, and titus (really like this too).....and I like jude too, that Amber suggested.
Can't wait to see what you decide!

I love Gavin. I really wanted that name. I also like Finn, Zander and Zayne. Good luck. Boy names are hard.

Landon
Hudson
Davis
Carter
Deacon
Kane
Carson
Campbell
Gavin
Preston
Greyson
Parker
Holden

Hope that helps! I may be in the same situation soon and have to name a boy, I think Hudson is what we will go with, I just love that name! Cant wait to see what you decide!

My husband and I really struggled with our last boy. He liked more out there names, where I am more main stream. I'm not sure how we really ever agreed (other than maybe, just MAYBE my husband gave me my way?).

One thing I will say is it's frustrating that girls are taking over boys names! Our last baby was named Avery, a TRADITIONALLY boys name, that is now one of the top girls names!

IMO I don't care if people think the name is NOW a girls name, if it was once for boys, I'm personally good with it :P

You are cracking me up! I can't believe I'm going to take a stab at this seeing as how we haven't even come up with names for our little one.

Here's a few that we couldn't see eye to eye on or they just didn't fit us for some reason (even though I think they are pretty good names):

Garrett
Micah
Elliot
Tobin
Liam

I don't know... whaddya think?

Obviously, I'm partial, but McClain is my favorite boy name. (Don't tell his brother!) It has so many fun nicknames--Mac, Clain, Clainey, Big Mac. It's just a sweet name for sweet boys! (as a former teacher, I can tell you that for 4 years in a row, I had "Jacob"s who all visited the principal...just sayin'!)

It all depends on your style and your other kids names. For us if we had a boy he would've either been Roman, Dominic, Vincent, Alexander, or Anthony. Good luck! :)

Loved the last post because of the comment and because I do like the name Chance. Also, a friend of mine just had a nephew born they named Sullivan. I also like Declan,Soren,Finn - a big fav. too, and Zander! Saw Micah on someone's list too. My oldest (almost 28) is Tyler. That was not all that popular then but became more so. Our next son (24) is Micah which we have also seen as a girl's name.

You use quite different names in the States to us here in Australia..... and after naming five sons I have not much to offer. If I had to name another boy I would consider Sam.....

My only piece of advice is choose something you are happy screeching {haha}...

I am going to think on this. But here's somethings to ponder. 1. think strong, grown up man name...after all he will grow up and have to take care of a family one day. Maybe something a doctor, scientist or the president might be named.
2. what was your maiden name. Or a family maiden name. Sometimes those make great names. I'm just saying because I have a "Travis" and that was my maiden name.

Have fun deciding...we really wanted to call Travis "Harrison" which is typically a last name. However, we decided that the growing up teasing of being called "Harry Guy" as Guy is our last name and Harry is often the short version of Harrison would just be too cruel of a boys locker room joke. Still to this day "Harrison" is my favorite boy name...knowing Travis now though....he could have totally pulled off "Harry Guy"

I totally agree with using maiden names. Our son is Neill Even, for his grandmothers- MIL was a Neill, and my mother was an Evenson.
while staying out of the "top Ten" is a priority for wome moms, you might also consider that kids like personalized stuff, and finding pre- personalized stuff for some of the odder names is impossible. Neill gripes that he would rather have stayed "Nathan" (the name his birthmom gave him) for that reason.
