Today...

the girls had a day off school...

they made necklaces...

I chased the babies around the couches because they laugh SO hard when I do...

I also lost my cool a couple times, and then felt bad...

Ella offered to take us all out to lunch with the 50 cents that she got for her lost tooth...

and I edited some pictures...

we went to the park...

spilled juice all over the picnic table...

laughed with friends...

ate a late lunch...

Raya kept saying my favorite phrase that she has, "Idunno", while she puts her hands in the air...

and came home so the babies could take naps. (oh how I wish I could get one too!)

Tonight...

I am going to the grocery...

considering looking for some new jeans (Lord help me)...

and getting my hair cut.

It is a much needed breather for mom.

I kinda want to cut a good amount off my hair, but it's been long for SO long (no pun)! Should I? Or should I keep it long? I would loovve to add a little bit of color, but I'm a little worried about that since I'm pregnant (even though the Dr said it would be fine). Do you color your hair while pregnant??

Happy Friday!!

Sounds like a fun day ... and a quiet mama evening to look forward to.

I say, "Cut the hair." A few months ago, I cut my hair shorter than it had been in 28 years. Yes. I. Did. And ... I LOVE it! Don't know why I was always scared to cut it shoulder length ... after YEARS of down-the-back long hair.

Coloring while pregnant? Nope, I've never tried that. I actually never colored my hair until I was 40, and the last baby had just been born.

Don't forget to take before and after pics of the haircut. :)

Be BLESSED today!!!

I say get it cut for a change. It will always grow back. :) I think I did highlight my hair while preggo, but can't remember.

Sounds like you had a good day! Have a nice relaxing evening tonight. Can't wait to see if you get your hair cut.

Have a great weekend.

Hey Kate, I got my hair highlighted while I was pregnant and my girls came out perfect! My doctor said it would be fine so I went with it! I'm sure you'll look gorgeous no matter what you do. Oh, one more thing, my hairstylist wouldn't allow me to do anything too drastic while I was pregnant because she said hormones make you do crazy things :)

I agree with the other ladies, go for it! I used to have long hair too and since having my kids, I've cut it shorter...and shorter :) I also color my hair and have had highlights & lowlights done while pregnant. It is completely safe and the only thing to consider is the smell. It will probably bother you, so just a forewarning :) Good luck!

Hair grows faster while pregnant - so if you don't like it you'll have less time to wait for it be you again. You may LOVE it!!! I can't wait to see it...

A day without Target - could this be true?! Maybe that is where you are headed for jeans..."I dunno" *hands in the air* ;)

Enjoy your time away! I'm hoping to get some of that next week! Once this little baby comes he will be attached to me for 6 months or so, so I guess nows the time for a mommy break?

I always get my hair highlighted during pregnancy, but I never do it during the first trimester. Actually, I've never done it before 25 weeks.

I've been told it's fine as long as you have good air flow around you, but still I always wait and let my hair annoy me!

I'm sure your little baby will be fine either way!

I've been thinking about getting my hair cut too! More so shaped-up I guess. And I've never colored by hair. I love how it looks on other people but I'm too cheap and very much a low maintenance girl! :)

Hope you had a good night out. I had put in a special request to get away for a little bit yesterday, but by the time hubby said he was free it was after dinner and I was toast! Oh well, there's always another day, right?

I love those late night shopping trips without the kids. :p And I've never colored my hair while pregnant, though I also heard it was safe. I'd just go for a haircut and style if you want a new look, or maybe just a few highlights. :)

Looking forward to seeing what you decided.

Cut it! I'm cutting mine in 2 weeks. I donate it every 2 years and it's time again. I am even going to get mine colored for the first time! So I say go for it! :)
