There's No Place Like Home

I'm such a "homebody", anyone else?

We are back from our little trip to PA. Did I mention that we were going there? No? Sorry. My mind has been a little preoccupied :). I think I mentioned it on Twitter after we already had hit the road.

We packed all our little savvies up and headed out last Thursday to see family. It was our 1st road trip with all the girls. They had fun, and it was just good to get away as a family.

But you know what I reeaally don't like about traveling?

Unpacking.

And the laundry that comes with it!

Ugh, can I play the pregnancy card on this one??

Probably not?

Alright. I'm off to get things back in order, and then catch up on my Google Reader. I didn't really have internet access during the trip and I want to catch up on every ones blogs!

Happy Monday!

I'm a homebody, too, so I understand! One of my friends shared a tip with me once: do your laundry while you're gone, so you just have to unpack when you get home and NOT have to do laundry. Oh, it makes arriving at home sooooo much nicer for me!

I look forward to hearing all about your trip!

Glad you had a good trip. I am a homebody. It is always nice to get out, but I like being home. Hope you have a good week.

I am a homebody as well...I love the comforts that my home bring..and while I do like to get away now and again...there certainly is no place like home..
I wanted to Congratulate you on your glorious news...I still go back and forth on the idea of having another..I must tell you that every now and again when I feel like "OH MY...I just can NOT"..I remember how much I do want another sweet gift and how YOU certainly CAN.."Thanks for the inspiration...Still not sure where my journey is headed...but I am loving getting a glimpse at yours:)

Nope ... not a homebody ... just got back from my 6 week, 9,000 mile Road Trip with the kids. I guess my "home" is wherever my family is. :)

Anyway, this post and pic reminded me of a trip we took ...

We had just returned from a 2 week mission trip to New Orleans with 10 of our children. We were at the baggage claim at the airport, pulling all of our bags off of the carousel. As I drug bag ... after bag ... after bag ... into a pile (24 checked bags and 12 carry-ons), a sweet young mama looked at me and said, "Does that mean that you have all of that laundry to wash now?" "yep ... sure does."

:) :) :)

Yup! Total homebody! And I, too, hate the unpacking {i.e. LAUNDRY} that comes with the return home!

I always say "the best part of going anywhere is going home." I am SUCH a homebody! We are both on the home team!

I never have any motivation to unpack after a trip. I have been known to have suitcases sitting unpacked for months. Gross, I know. I'm trying to kick that habit, though. I'm already unpacked from David's wedding. Aren't you proud?!
